Our location shoot on the island of Mo'orea was ‘awesome’, and we were privileged to experience so much ♡
Long before western cultures understood climate change, be\fore ‘eco’ and ‘green’ were buzz words, Tahitian ancestors understood Mana; the sacred bond that respects, balances the harmony between people, land, ocean and all living things. The people are incredibly friendly, treating you like family without knowing you. In the end we made many friends during our short stay.
And perhaps Tahiti’s best kept secret of things to do, beside the warm culture, traditional food, people and overwater bungalows is the unrivaled experience of their ocean activities. So when we designed 🌊 TAHITI MANA; we did this through the lens of the enchanted Tahitian ocean girl wearing the SL bikini while experiencing the soul of Tahitian culture.

The ocean is ever cerulean, imaginative and as our angel Anabel describes it as ‘AMAZING’. ☀ You cannot actually touch the whales. And nothing prepares you for the indescribable encounter. All you can do is surrender completely in these dreamlike once in a lifetime moments.
“Once I got in the water, I didn’t think it would happen. At first, I didn’t know that I was seeing a whale. I thought it was sand at the bottom of the ocean, then it came up and it was magical. The whales felt like it was something I was seeing in the cartoons. They were giants but it was just a mom and it’s baby. I felt like it was very close but that’s because they were really big. I wasn’t scared, instead felt this adrenaline. I would DEFINITELY do it again if I had the chance” Anabel, SL angel

We were introduced to more unique underwater activities ♥ such as swimming with black tip sharks and getting up and close with majestic rays.
“The first stingray I interacted with came up from behind right over my head. I was a little scared but once I spent more time with them it got less scary and then wasn’t scary at all. I had heard stories that swimming with rays are so magical and cute while others say they bother you and follow you, because they’re not scared of you like sharks can be. I went into the immersion a bit scared and you can see that I held my hand out so it didn’t stick onto me. In the end it was fun and I was playing with them as if they were sea puppies. The sharks weren’t scary at all. They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them” - Anabel, SL angel

Tahiti is really fun, very green and beautiful. ❁ Tahitian are super kind, nice and the sweetest people. We recommend asking for a local Tahitian guide to get the most unforgettable personalized experience.
But what made this trip even more special was having Tahitian girls model the Tahiti Mana Collection. They showed us secret spots that only the locals would know. We were able to capture amazing film and photography. We loved that this collection embodies the free spirit and adventurous girl in her most natural environment. ✰
